Job Summary/Purpose:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) is a professional caregiver who assesses the respiratory needs of patients and works closely with physicians, nurses and other health care team members to administer all respiratory care procedures that provide the maximum therapeutic and diagnostic benefit to the patient. 


RCP is required to participate in mandatory On-Call rotation.


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Advanced RCP must be a graduate of a two (2) year accredited training program in Respiratory Care.
  • Licensure by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation and Certification and/or Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
