City of Hope Atlanta (Newnan, GA) is seeking an experienced, outstanding Board-Certified Surgical Oncologist to who wishes to contribute and practice medicine in a patient-focused environment surrounded by a collaborative team that drives speed to care, quality and outcomes.  We invite you to consider an opportunity to join City of Hope Atlanta.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS

• Demonstrated ability to function as a team player

• Collegial and helpful with internal colleagues, referring physicians, and others

• Articulate and engaging with patients, families, and other caregivers, using understandable language and compassion at all times

• Confident yet humble manner that earns respect from patients and colleagues

• Well versed in the state of cancer care, including the latest standards of care, research, and innovations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or Foreign Equivalent

• Minimum of 10 years of clinical practice experience required

• Board Certified in General Surgery

• Board Certified in Complex General Surgical Oncology or fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology  

• Extensive experience using minimally invasive techniques

• Experience with GI oncology & colorectal cancer required

• Experience with cytoreductive surgery preferred

• HIPEC experience preferred

• Active Georgia Medical License

• ACLS

Salary range: $250,000 - $650,000    The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits.  Actual compensation will be adjusted for specialty, experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
