Position Overview

The Senior Program Manager provides leadership, management and execution of the strategic vision necessary to ensure consistency across all practices within the disease specific service line(s). Responsible for the oversight of all operational functions in the clinical service line across the organization as it pertains to:

  • System alignment
  • Development and implementation of evidence based medicine guidelines and policies
  • Expand market share and growth

The position drives execution of clinical service line initiatives ensuring that scope and alignment with organizational goals are maintained. This individual assures resources are in place for service line execution and management and works effectively with leadership and stakeholders by understanding challenges, formulating creative options, and implementing measurable solutions.  Travel requirements of approximately 30% - 50%, including overnight travel.  This is an Enterprise role, preferably based in Atlanta.  However, open to Philadelphia, Chicago, or Phoenix. 

 

Key Position Qualifications

  • Minimum BS/BA with Master’s preferred. Additional advanced clinical or business credentials preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant healthcare work experience with 5+ years practice management experience with expertise in operational aspects of multi-specialty practices
  • Management experience required
  • Must have experience leading large scale program development and change management initiatives.  Strong operational leadership skills, including experience providing business leadership to physicians
  • Experience within an oncology or breast cancer service line required, multidivisional institution required
  • Strategic planning experience; has a personal track record as a builder of successful programs and teams, as well as the interpersonal and communication skills necessary to build strong relationships and partnerships across a wide spectrum both internally and externally
