The Senior Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Analyst primary responsibility is to work within a search engine optimization platform to identify new keywords to target on search engines (i.e. Google) and to improve rankings on existing keywords to increase the number of patients acquired through non-media efforts and contribute to the reduction in marketing cost per new treatment.
This individual will continue to improve our keyword rankings on search engines by conducting technical research on web page design and functionality, analyze language being published online, and perform competitive research on top performing pages being listed on Google. He / she will also be responsible for establishing micro and schema data, such as ranking stars and recency dates, that is used by search engines to improve the relevancy of listings being displayed to searchers. Additionally, the analytical guidance provided by this individual will play a role into content organization and the type of material being published on cancercenter.com.
This analyst will act as a subject matter expert in SEO. The analyst will routinely report on the performance of SEO efforts and provide intelligence round patient behavior within the organic search engine landscape. He / she will also investigate emerging technologies such as voice assisted search and question-based searches to ensure CTCA remains relevant in the how prospective patient search behavior evolves. This roll will also maintain directories and local listings being published online to make sure CTCA appears on listings where appropriate.
This position reports to Manager of Optimization and interfaces regularly with the Director of Marketing Operations and Optimization. He / she will also routinely interact with Senior Vice President of Growth, internal and external paid search team members and various other content and technical stakeholders to help propel initiatives forward.
Key Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or advanced SEO certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience using Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience using an SEO platform such as BrightEdge, Conductor, SEO Clairity and / or REO SEO.
- Experience using search tools such as Moz, Google Search Console, or DeepCrawl.
- Strong ability to use Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Background and familiarity in paid search / SEM tools such as Google AdWords.
- Ability to communicate complex topics.
- Familiarity working in an agile work environment.
