Job Description:

Registered Nurse - Outpatient Care Clinic - Downtown Chicago

Infusion experience strongly desired

Hours: Mon - Fri 7:30am - 4:30pm

Job Summary/Purpose:

The Professional Clinical Registered Nurse provides individualized care to the adult patient in an outpatient clinic where they provide clinic-based oncology services including infusions. Candidates will be experienced in utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Nursing care will address physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs of the patient, and coordinates the plan of care with other healthcare professional’s patients, support persons and all members of the healthcare team.


       Current IL RN License

       Education:     Bachelor’s Degree in nursing

       Experience:    1-2 years Oncology experience


  • OCN Certification within: three years of hire
  • BLS certification must be maintained while in this position              

Preferred Attributes:   

  • National certification in specialty population served
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience
  •  Chemo certification and/or experience in infusion
