The Nurse Advisor provides clinical assessment services from inquiries submitted by non-clinical CTCA representatives, prospective patients, and their families, to determine whether treatment at CTCA is the right option. An ideal candidate will provide a strong understanding on the range of comprehensive cancer care services to facilitate patient and caregiver decisions. This position requires working collaboratively with all CTCA locations and a daily partnership with Nursing Navigation teams and other clinicians to determine the appropriate care required for any patient seeking to elect services within Cancer Treatment Centers of America’s continuum of care. The Nurse Advisor will address any oncology-specific concerns, questions or barriers during conversations with perspective patients and their caregivers. The Nurse Advisor plays an important role in advocating for patient and caregiver needs and concerns optimizing a smooth transition into care at CTCA
- RN. BSN. OCN.
- Current Illinois License required
- 5 plus years Oncology experience required
- Prior outpatient experience preferred
- Prior experience in training in a clinical or non-clinical setting
