Position Overview

The Medical Writer should possess the skills and scientific knowledge necessary to clearly and effectively communicate technical medical science in writing. The Medical Writer should also be familiar with the publication and review process, and capable of identifying and suggesting targeted avenues for publication and/or presentation.

Key Position Qualifications

  • Master’s degree required
  • Previous publication experience preferred
  • Proficient in spelling, grammar, and scientific writing style
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present medical information in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of the principles of clinical research
  • Ability to interpret and present clinical data or other complex information
  • Understanding of FDA and ICH regulations and guidelines
  • Familiarity with drafting study materials including, but not limited to protocols, abstracts, and proposals
