Under the strategic direction of the AVP of Supply Chain Operations, the PSM Manager of Supply Chain manages and coordinates all activities and staff related to procurement and supply services for CTCA RMCs including but not limited to receiving, distribution, inventory control, equipment management. Ensures RMC compliance to national and local policies regarding internal controls for procurement, contracting, sourcing, vendor management and utilization of enterprise resources. This is a CTCA shared services role; therefore scope of this role would cross multiple CTCA sites as needed to support enterprise PSM initiatives and or operations.
Key Position Qualifications
- Five (5) years or more hospital of progressive healthcare Materials Management operational leadership experience required, preferably in a multi-hospital health system environment.
- BS/BA in Business, Finance or related field preferred.
- Working knowledge of procure to pay cycle.
- Knowledge of GPO services and contracts.
- Strong working knowledge of inventory/demand management best practices preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience with Materials Management Information systems, preferably Lawson.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Pyxis supply systems.
- Strong skills set in excel and/or other Microsoft Applications used to perform analysis.
