Job Description:

The Manager of Empowerment Training and Organizational Development will assume the lead role for the design and deployment of Empowerment training and ongoing capability development programs, that deliver measurable performance outcomes. He/she will assess talent and skill gaps within the Empowerment team, develop solutions to address those gaps, and utilize technology to support training and organizational development efforts. He/She will manage, develop and implement culture, change and engagement programs, including but not limited to, leader/team effectiveness, Stakeholder engagement, organization design, organization culture, change management, performance management, and talent assessment to achieve the long-term business strategy.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of proven experience managing teams within a call center environment
  • 5 years of proven experience designing training curriculums, talent development, and succession planning programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Background in healthcare preferred
  • Strong initiative and judgement
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Exceptional listening skills and emotional intelligence to read and interpret team and leader dynamics
  • Strong ability to build high trust relationships with leaders at all levels
  • Strong organization/time management skills
  • Experience working with electronic learning management systems and platforms
  • Ability to manage company-wide, large scale, complex projects on time, within budget and with agreed upon the effectiveness
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present across all levels of the organization; must be able to clearly articulate complex ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to build professional relationships with organizational development and cross-functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment; ability to influence the execution of programs
  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment
