Start your story at CTCA as an Information Services Technician II, Desktop Support. Cancer Treatment Centers of America is currently hiring for an IS Technician II to provide desktop support for our Hospital and ancillary clinics and departments. The IS Technician II is responsible for providing the daily support functions of the Help Desk along with the hardware (desktop) troubleshooting. This involves fielding, documenting, and prioritizing telephone and e-mail requests from end-users, as well as troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This role will provide high level customer service in a Windows 7 environment. Understanding on how applications work with each other in a Windows program and the ability to troubleshoot tough issues is preferred. Familiarity with logical problem solving principles are essential to be successful in this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or Information Technology preferred.
- 3+ years of IT experience, primarily within the areas of desktop support, help desk, and hardware troubleshooting.
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Suite, including Windows 7, XP, and a Citrix desktop environment is required, understanding various environments in Citrix is preferred.
- Certifications MS Desktop, HDI Certification, or other applicable Desktop Support Certifications in preferred.
- IT experience within a multi-facility healthcare organization is preferred.
