Job Description:

Finance Manager

FT; 1st/Days

The Manager is responsible to deliver all site financial analytics including:  Revenue, Pricing (both pharma and non-pharma), Retention, Reimbursement, Cost, Margin, Service Utilization, Quality, Operations Financial Support, Monthly Variance Analysis Explanations, Management and Board Reporting, Budget, Forecast and Business Development Proformas working in conjunction with site subject matter experts. 

The Manager will serve as the internal consultant and will work with executives, department leaders and clinical leadership at CTCA Tulsa to develop appropriate business cases and analyses to help make informed investments, strategic and operating decisions to ensure company financial goals are achieved.   The initiatives supported generate a direct and substantial impact on the profitability of CTCA Tulsa. 

The Manager works closely with the corporate FP&A and Finance teams to enhance current reporting capabilities, drive continuous improvement in business analytics, continuously improve the accuracy of the data and tackle analytical problems using standardized approaches and workarounds to the extent possible. He/she is a versatile user of the corporate systems as well as a contributor to its continuous improvement.  This position is also expected to contribute ideas with the Decision Support team and Information Technology in support of data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives.

Under the direction of the corporate finance team, takes leadership or co-leadership of enterprise-wide projects such as the implementation of new systems (e.g. Action OI), Pro-Formas (clinic acquisitions and openings) and Reimbursement Models.  

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Analytics or related field        
  • A minimum of 5-10 years Finance and Business Analytics experience
  • A minimum of 5 years Healthcare experience understanding healthcare analytics preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills associated with building robust models for business use
  • Advanced database manipulation skills across a broad platform of products used to compile, manipulate and analyze vast amounts of data
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate financial information to various business audiences to inform decision making and reach effective business solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial acumen
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to coordinate and manage multiple priorities and responsibilities
  • Must be efficient, reliable and adaptable to change while maintaining high productivity levels under stressful deadlines
  • Demonstrated track record of process improvements and ability to implement best practices
    Excellent team player with strong relationship building skills
  • Management experience leading teams preferred
