Job Description:

Job Summary/Purpose:

The Transportation Dispatcher is responsible for the scheduling of patients and guest ground transportation to and from the airports, hotels, appointments, and scheduled activities sponsored by Cancer Treatment Centers of America© (CTCA).  He/she ensures appropriate communication between the guest and the transportation driver or representative.  He/she provides support to the Guest Services department to enhance the guest experience, support fellow stakeholders in a team environment and demonstrates the Values of CTCA.  The individual will represent the Transportation department and Midwestern Regional Medical Center upholding the Mission, Vision, Values, Our Promise and our Stakeholder Bond while meeting all  Service Standards of the organization to deliver the Mother Standard© of care and maintain the CTCA brand.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years customer service experience
  • Good interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50lbs. 
  • Ability to sit 6-8 hours per day
  • Good hearing for effective verbal and written communication
  • Ability to perform fine manipulation (i.e. keyboard)
