Position Overview
Provide the first point of contact for patients as they transition from their OIS representative to direct interaction with ERMC for the purpose of scheduling an initial evaluation. Communicate with the OIS representative, the patient, and the intake staff in order to efficiently create a schedule for the initial visit based on the patient’s requests and medical needs. Scheduling of the patient’s evaluation, travel, and lodging. Complete all necessary documentation and prepare the patient for the remainder of the intake process and travel to ERMC.
Key Position Qualifications
- HS graduate or equivalent
- 2-3 years hospital/medical experience
- Computer/data entry experience
- Medical records or insurance verification background preferred
- Customer service background strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Software-based scheduling experience helpful
