Job Description:

Hours: Mon - Fri 7 am - 3:30 pm, occasional weekends

Job Summary/Purpose:

Responsible for supervising and coordinating the monitoring, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, operation, and management of physical plant systems (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing), structures, and grounds. Responsible for the pro-active preventive maintenance of all equipment to assure extended equipment life and reduced maintenance costs.


Minimum Qualifications:

AAS degree in power engineering (HVAC Systems) or equivalent experience

Licensed Stationary Engineer or equivalent experience

Minimum 5 years field experience with commercial HVAC equipment, building trades, and plant/facilities maintenance

Advanced electrical and mechanical skills and knowledge

Must be skilled in use and care of power tools and equipment

Valid driver’s license

Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics

Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions

Ability to work independently and unsupervised
