Retail Pharmacist – Per Diem

Position Overview

Fill prescriptions, monitor patient drug therapies and provide counseling to patients. Supervise and direct support personnel. May be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties in her/his absence. Supervise the work of technicians.

Fexibility to cover hours between Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Key Position Qualifications

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
  • Minimum 2 years retail pharmacy experience
  • Strong background or interest in oncology pharmacy preferred
  • Familiar with using pharmacy computer systems and other technology
  • Critical thinking and confidence in decision-making abilities are required
  • Previous supervisory experience a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
