The Lead Housekeeper assumes responsibilities of the supervisor and duties when the supervisor is absent.  Performs daily housekeeping tasks as scheduled on days when supervisor is present and other duties.  Answers pages for housekeeping request and ensures their completion to the end.  Must be able to problem solve and have excellent communication skills to interact with various departments.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

At least two years of experience in Midwestern Regional Medical Center’s Housekeeping Department, or equivalent Housekeeping experience.

Must be able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.

Basic knowledge of all chemicals, equipment and cleaning procedures used in housekeeping.

Must show leadership skills.

Effective communication skills.
