The Clinical Scheduling Coordinator maximizes the timeliness of the diagnostic and evaluative process to facilitate the care of the patients.  By coordinating the schedule between the patient, clinical services and physicians, and provides the patient with a complete overview of the scheduled itinerary.  Makes informed decisions in meeting the patient’s own healthcare needs.  Completes necessary documentation and pre-certification of treatments and procedures.  Communicates with patients, caregivers, doctors, case managers and clinical services departments. Hours are Thursday, 8am-3pm, Friday 8-3pm, & 8am to 4:30pm on Saturday’s. Sunday’s 3pm-5pm.  *Hours are subject to change based on dept needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School graduate
  • Two (2) years medical office experience preferred
  • Light typing skills/keyboard knowledge
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Knowledge of medical information and terminology preferred
