The Business Resource Leader provides data analytics to hospital leadership enabling clinical decision making.
Supports value analysis, cost management, capital and operating budgeting, inventory control and program development in order to enhance operations, clinical outcomes, patient experience and improve areas contribution margin; supports clinical excellence and enterprise wide initiatives. Mentors and guides appropriate staff for achievement of excellence. Collaborates with Administrative Leadership in ensuring staff competency, promotes teamwork concepts within staff. Resource responsibilities may include mentoring and developing, analyzing supplies and equipment using evidence-based methods, and assisting leadership with business and operational decisions. Utilizes data (via Quadramed, Truven and other systems) to provide recommendations for acuity-based staffing and budgeting.
Key Position Qualifications
- BS/BA Degree in healthcare related field or competencies typically acquired when working in financial analytics; MBA preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years applicable experience within the healthcare environment
Experience with LEAN methodology, managing financials and project management.
3 years leadership experience
Advanced skills in Visio and Microsoft Excel
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Highly analytical skills
Microsoft Office Suite
